Ratch Patana Participates in Mangrove Reforestation Activity: “Together for the Planet – Planting Mangroves to Let the Earth Breathe”

On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, Ratchapatana Energy Public Company Limited participated in a natural resource conservation and restoration initiative under the project “Lion Volunteers: Planting Mangroves – Together for the Planet, Planting Mangroves to Let the Earth Breathe,” held at the Ban Laem Chabang community mangrove forest in Si Racha District, Chonburi Province.

The activity aimed to enhance the ecological balance of coastal ecosystems and promote business sector involvement in environmental conservation. Executives and employees of Ratchapatana Energy joined in planting 300 large-leaved mangrove trees, which have the capacity to sequester approximately 7.5 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2e) per year.

This initiative reflects the company’s commitment to conducting business responsibly, with a strong emphasis on biodiversity conservation and the economic value of coastal ecosystems. It also aligns with Ratchapatana Group’s sustainability goals to improve the quality of life in surrounding communities and support long-term greenhouse gas reduction efforts, moving toward true Carbon Neutrality and Net Zero Emissions.
