On October 23, 2024, Ratchapatana Energy Public Company Limited organized the 14^th annual “Young Village Health Volunteers (YVHVs)” capacity-building program at the Sea Turtle Conservation Center, Royal Thai Navy, in Chonburi Province. The initiative aims to raise awareness and promote knowledge among youth about marine resource conservation and encourage volunteerism in maintaining coastal cleanliness.

The YVHV program was established to promote community health education and instill a sense of responsibility in young people regarding personal and public health, as well as social service. The program is open to children and youth aged 10–17 years living in communities surrounding the company’s power plants. Participants receive training in various topics such as basic first aid, fire prevention, mangrove forest restoration, waste separation, and youth volunteerism for sustainable development.

This year’s activities focused on marine conservation, including educational sessions on marine ecosystems, hands-on beach clean-up exercises, and the release of sea turtles back into their natural habitat. Team-building activities were also held to foster unity and collaboration among youth participants from different communities.

Ratch Pathana Energy Public Company Limited organized the “Youth Development Program for Junior Village Health Volunteers (Junior VHV)” in 2024. The program has been continuously conducted for the 14^th consecutive year at the Sea Turtle Conservation Center, Royal Thai Navy, Chonburi Province.
